This rainy, stormy day has put a hold on my errands. So here I am, sitting by this laptop, contemplating away... I am suddenly reminded that summer's almost through and school is gonna pop up again in a few weeks.
I'm trying to not think about it.
There's still so many things to do, so many loose ends to tie, so many grounds to cover... Even though the busiest chunk of my summer has passed, I still find myself scrambling. And I thought I would get all of this done by the beginning of this month, or at least by now anyway.
A lot's happened this summer and I've grown. I believe I've improved. But what I haven't improved on at all is organization and time management (on many if not all levels).
I've been working on small art pieces here and there (as seen in recent deviation submissions) and i've been doing a LOT of doodling (as seen in my tumblr blog, although there's some major lag on that too) and i've been progressing as fast as a herd of snails in my commissions (my tablet screen has a huge crack on it and it's distracting as hell, though that shouldn't be an excuse). And I wanna start working on #Pokemon-Sardonyx again already, even though its status is kind of on hiatus. orz
I guess to put it simply: I can't start slacking off just 'cause the business is over. There's still shit to do and school is almost here. So stfu and get to work! D:< /kicks self
