Sharla and Juju

Yes. So, this is supposed to be Sharla and Juju at ages 17 and 10 respectively. Because of reasons. My headcanon is that their mother died when Juju was born and that Sharla's father died during a Mechon attack some time during Sharla's age of ... I'm thinking 13-14 (Juju would be 6-7)? I have this head canon where her father was a Colony 6 soldier, which leads me to think that Otharon, being the leader of the Defense Force, kind of "looked after" them... not so much as a replacement father figure but rather making sure that Sharla and Juju were able to stay put in their late parents' house so they could mourn... via pulling some strings as Defense Force leader. Lol. Because I mean i'm sure they would've been tossed into an orphanage otherwise! Which is interesting kind of because Otharon is outwardly stern, strict, and stubborn. What kind of man like that would go out of his way to make sure to shield some kids from a few more harsh realities that they could learn from?

... Well, my thinking is that Otharon is only those things initially. While he is quick to make snap judgments and act on them, he is not a man without compassion and sympathy for human/homs hurts and concerns. Of course he'd be able to empathize with those in pain, he sees that everyday, right?!! Granted, sympathy wouldn't be the only reason he'd stick his neck out for the two. In fact, this is where my even crazier(?) headcanon on how Gadolt plays into all this would come in..... Aaaaaahahlaksjhalkdfhadg
