Ivysaur : Beatrice

So.. you can tell which sketches are in MY style and which are more pokemon... lulz my fail. XD

+ Personality:
Anal, quick tempered and overconfident, you can often find Beatrice the Ivysaur (usually addressed as "Bea") yell at her other team mates during training sessions. She is the most hard working out of the group and can have a prissy streak about her. At times she seems cruel, inconsiderate and very critical but the truth of the matter is that she DOES acknowledge the possible hurt she gives others... she would just rather have them suck it up or use that emotional infliction to fuel themselves in training or battle. If she does hurt someone (emotionally), apologizing is never an option for her as a 'leader'. It's rare for her to apologize to others but if she does, it will never be a direct, "i'm sorry" and instead will do subtle favors to make up for it. She sees herself as the top dog of the group. Her approach is very domineering and cooperates with others in battle in a very business-like fashion.

Her relationship with her trainer, Tadako (aka Tako), is kind of a strange love-hate relationship on Bea's part. As a young Bulbasaur, she was raised by her father (who was probably a part of a breeding program to produce well bred Pokemon) to be a fighter -- because he knew that she would one day become a Trainer's first Pokemon for a long journey full of battles. And so, aspiring to be the best Pokemon she could be for the trainer that would eventually choose her, Beatrice had an already clear picture in her mind about what her trainer would be like: strong, sharp, intimidating and mighty with a good sense of strategy and swag. Instead, she gets Tako -- although feisty, determined and a tough cookie herself, Tako is also clumsy, inexperienced, goofy and a little shaky on her feet in the beginning (but then again, who isn't in their first few steps of becoming a trainer?? )... not to mention that she already had another Pokemon before her, taking away her precious "title" of being "the first for a first". Their relationship was very rocky at first. But Beatrice has eventually learned that all great trainers need to start somewhere in order for growth to happen... although it doesn't stop her from getting a tad irritated from her trainer's choice of actions. That, or if she had a hand she'd be facepalming like no tomorrow due to her trainer's clumsy moments.

Tadako absolutely loves and adores her as her strongest, toughest, most aggressive pokemon but knows that she must also address her own role as the trainer (learned this the hard way). Together, they make a great team with Tako's heart and determination and with Bea's fight drive.
